Whiles playing in the 1st division with R T U, Labando Yakubu affectionately called computer contributed 7 goals and 6 assist to ensure the promotion of R T U back to the top flight of Ghana football.

Labando Yakubu was a member of Coach Karim Zito’s U-20 team before their departure to Benin for the just ended WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Pride of the North beat Unity FC 2-0 at home and both goals were scored by Labando Yakubu. He has scored 4 goals in two matches to help propel his team into the top flight.

Though he is yet to taste top action in the Ghana premier league, he said “It’s going to be a long campaign but I am very ready to take the league by storm.
