The Yendi Volley Ball Association in the Yendi Municipality has successfully organized the Yendi Eid Adha Volleyball Tournament.
The first edition of the annual events aimed at uniting the youth, unearthing talent and providing a common platform to champion the development of sports in the community.
In all, seven teams drawn from the three districts within the eastern corridor area participated in the football matches and battled it out for the ultimate trophy. These included Vision VC, Gbewaa VC, Metro VC, and Fusion VC all in Yendi, Gmantambu VC in Bimbilla, and Beimony VC in Karaga.It was hosted by Gbewaa VC.

The tree days tournament, which started on Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July, 2021 was played in the All – Play All format, where by winners were determined by accumulated points.
At the end of the tournament, sixteen (16) matches was played of which ten (10) matches for male category and six (6) matches for female category.

At the end of the tournament, Gbewaa volleyball club and Vision Volleyball club made history by winning the ultimate trophy in the female and male categories.
Each participating team received one (1) Volleyball Each and the winner for both male and female category took home a trophy and an amount of money each for their hard work.
Deserving player was also awarded with medals and other items
